About GEERD

Built for institutions. Designed for adoption.

GEERD builds purpose-built platforms for admissions and academic operations — paired with pragmatic guidance to help teams modernize without over-engineering. We work where reality is complex, and we build systems that stay usable, scalable, and owned by teams.

Our Story

From real operational pain to purpose-built systems

GEERD was born from a simple observation: many institutions are forced to run critical workflows on spreadsheets, emails, and generic software that wasn't designed for their reality. The result is predictable — slow adoption, fragmented workflows, and tools that don't survive beyond launch.

We took a different path. Instead of adapting enterprise software to contexts it was never built for, we build platforms designed from the ground up for institutional operations — and pair them with the guidance needed to ensure real, lasting adoption.

Founded in Morocco, GEERD is building the infrastructure for institutional digital transformation across the continent and beyond.

Purpose-built, not adapted

Our platforms are designed specifically for higher education — not repurposed enterprise tools forced into academic workflows.

Adoption-first, not delivery-first

We measure success by what teams actually use — not by what gets deployed. We stay involved until adoption is real.

Simple systems that scale over time

We start lean and build incrementally — ensuring each milestone delivers value before moving to the next.

Platforms first, custom when it matters

Our SaaS platforms cover the vast majority of institutional needs. When a challenge goes beyond that scope, we design targeted solutions that integrate seamlessly — same principles, same adoption focus.

Our Mission
To democratize access to excellent education technology by delivering purpose-built platforms and operational guidance that institutions can truly adopt, own, and scale.
Our Values

What drives every decision we make

Institutions first

Higher education operations are our core — and only — focus. We don't do generic. Every feature, every workflow, every decision is designed for institutional teams.

Your growth is our roadmap

We grow when institutions succeed. We're invested in long-term outcomes, not quick implementations. Your success is our only metric.

Proximity & trust

We stay close — not just technically, but humanly. When things get tough, we're there. Our founders remain directly accessible to every partner institution.

Client-driven evolution

Our platforms were designed from deep institutional understanding — and they keep evolving. Every partner's feedback makes the system better for everyone.

Transparency

Honest advice, clear pricing, realistic timelines. If something isn't a fit, we'll say so. We'd rather build trust than make a sale.

Accessibility

Transformative education technology shouldn't be reserved for elite institutions. We make world-class systems available at a fraction of enterprise cost.

Our DNA

Built in Africa, for institutions everywhere

Education technology only works when it fits the context. Across Africa, institutions face a unique mix of fast growth, diverse student journeys, governance requirements, and limited tolerance for complex implementations. Solutions built elsewhere often fail at the last mile — not because they lack features, but because they don't match operational reality.

Our platforms and delivery approach are built to solve that problem.

Designed for real adoption

Not just deployed — actually used by teams, in real conditions, with real constraints.

Built to support governance & scale

Compliance, data security, roles & permissions — built-in from day one, not bolted on later.

Focused on time-to-value

Institutions see impact quickly and build on it over time — not after months of customization.

Real ownership, not dependency

Teams are trained, supported, and enabled until they fully own the system. We build autonomy, not lock-in.

How We Work

How the approach stays simple — and works long-term

Transformation succeeds when platforms fit operations — and teams are supported until they fully own them.

Typical projects

Tools → Customization → Adoption (maybe)

Software selected first. Processes forced to adapt. Teams left to "figure it out."

→ Fragmented workflows and underused systems.

The GEERD way

Operations → Structure → Platform Enablement

Start from real workflows. Clarify what must stay simple. Guide teams through adoption.

→ Clarity, adoption, and systems that stay in use.
