Case study · HEC Rabat · Business school
How HEC Rabat replaced three tools with one student file, and multiplied its Executive Education by four.
A fast-growing business school in Rabat: 1,000+ students, 14 programmes, a Programme Grande École and a continuing-education arm, Formation Continue, expanding quickly. GEERD works with the school in layers: diagnostic and advice, website, academic administration, admissions, and now alumni.

Context
An ambitious school at a turning point.
Faced with rising demand, HEC Rabat chose to structure its transformation with a long view: not to deploy tools, but to build a foundation able to carry daily operations and clear the way for growth. The requirement was plain: a partner close to the ground, who would understand the reality of the school and grow with it, rather than a distant vendor selling rigid software.

Where it started
Four fractures holding back a growing school.
Rigid systems
- Before
- Hyperplanning, little used.
- After
- EasyClass, a single academic platform.
Disconnected tools
- Before
- Zoom, unsecured recordings, manual sharing.
- After
- Virtual classrooms built into EasyClass, recordings shared automatically, 30 minutes saved per session.
An outdated digital presence
- Before
- The old website, credibility and search visibility at a low, no content governance.
- After
- A modern institutional site, editorial autonomy, synchronised with BrightStep.
Limited visibility
- Before
- HubSpot, a generic CRM ill-suited to schools.
- After
- BrightStep, the applicant followed end to end, payments built in, WhatsApp and calls native.
What we did
Four layers, built in order.
We did not deploy tools. Each layer rests on the one before it.
01
Diagnostic and advice
An audit of every tool and what it cost, process mapping, roles and permissions by department, training for each team, support answering within 48 hours.
02
Institutional website
Credibility restored, search visibility unblocked, editorial autonomy, admissions campaigns wired to BrightStep.
03
EasyClass, the academic day
PGE and Formation Continue: timetables, attendance, marks, documents generated automatically, online payments, virtual classrooms, and a students table whose indicators leadership reads for itself. −70% in requests to leadership, no blocking incident.
04
BrightStep, the growth engine
Admissions fully online: application, assessment, decision, payment online or by documented transfer, appointments, WhatsApp, calls. One pipeline, from first contact to enrolment, run by the admissions team itself.
Milestones
In the order things actually landed.
- 01Digital foundations
- 02Formation Continue operations: certificates, online attendance, invigilated examinations
- 03PGE operations and finance: transcripts generated automatically, student cards, payments synchronised with the accounts
- 04Admissions fully digital
- 05An assistant connected to the knowledge base, around the clock
- 06Alumni platform (under way, 2026)
