Programme, cohort, class
The programme is the plan: modules, years, semesters, courses with weighting and contact hours. Every cohort inherits it; every class teaches to it.
Academic lifeEasyClass is used every day by academic administration, teachers and students: programmes, cohorts, classes, sessions, attendance, grades, transcripts, online courses and payments. In French and English, in your institution’s own vocabulary. Set up with GEERD, on your programmes and your templates, never delivered on its own.

Semester 4
Passed
Average 13.4 after the 3 July board. Transcript published, downloaded by the student the next day.
Day to day
Four moments, four people, one record.
The head of academic administration
Publishes the week’s sessions for three classes. A room change: the students concerned see it in their timetable, and nobody else does.
A teacher
Takes the register from the session: present, late, absence justified or not. The group’s absence rate updates; the threshold the school set flags anyone over it.
A student
Downloads her transcript and pays her instalment by card, or gets a code to pay cash at an agency. Nobody at the front desk.
Leadership
Opens the student table: attendance, total invoiced, paid, outstanding, late, by cohort. No spreadsheet compiled.
What it holds
Each part is described by what it does for someone, not by its spec sheet. The six chapters follow the year as it unfolds: the structure of the programmes, sessions and the register, marks and transcripts, what the student does alone, finance, and who is allowed to see what.
01Structure
The programme is the plan: modules, years, semesters, courses with weighting and contact hours. Every cohort inherits it; every class teaches to it.
Template courses reused from one cohort to the next; a content library built from blocks (text, video, quiz, activities).
From your own Excel file, headers in French or English, photos embedded in cells, rows with errors corrected on screen before importing.

02Sessions and attendance
One-off or recurring sessions, rooms, teachers, on site or online. Week, month and agenda views; a week export for the student.
Four marks, a comment when one is needed. One absence threshold per institution, calculated on scheduled hours, flagging whoever exceeds it.
Built-in virtual classrooms with recording and replay, or a Zoom, Teams or Meet link if you prefer. The room opens fifteen minutes ahead.
Attendance
03Grades and documents
By course, by cohort, by programme. Calculated columns, resits, and pass rules written as formulas: “if the average is ≥ 10, Passed”.
Auto-marked multiple choice, written answers, file submissions, marking rubrics, peer assessment. Grades visible when the teacher decides.
Produced as PDFs from your own Word templates, with your own variables. What took weeks is produced on demand.
Gradebook
04Student portal
“What’s next for me?”: the session about to start, assignments due, exams, recent grades, unread announcements.
Sessions, materials, assignments, grades, announcements and the course forum. Sign in by email, WhatsApp code, Google or Microsoft.
Contact details editable; fields owned by the school locked: the student requests the correction, academic administration approves it.
Student portal
Main
05Finance
One-off or recurring fees, invoices with instalment plans, discounts, credit notes. Every revision to a plan is traced with its reason.
Card online, secured to banking-industry standards, or a payment code to settle in cash at a network of agencies. Transfers, cheques and cash recorded at the office.
By student and by cohort: total invoiced, paid, outstanding, late, payment rate. Read by authorised roles only.
Billing
06Communication and governance
To the institution, a programme, a cohort, a class or a course. Normal or urgent, with read receipts.
Questions and discussion per course, marked answers, moderation, anonymity if you allow it.
Roles defined by your institution, with permissions scoped to a programme, a cohort, a class or a course. A teacher sees only their own classes.
Announcements
Semester 1 resits will be held from 12 to 16 January. Your convocations are in your portal.

Management SciencesClass of 2026Official documents
Your office keeps its templates: the transcript, the attestation, the certificate exactly as the supervising authority knows them. EasyClass fills in the variables (student, programme, calculated grades, dates) and produces the PDF for one student or for a whole cohort. At ESFPP, summary tables that used to take weeks are produced in seconds.

Set up with you
We do not configure software before understanding your circuits. The diagnostic follows a grade, an absence and a transcript; the set-up translates your programmes and your templates into EasyClass; the first semester is run at your side.
See how we work on academic administration →One student record
At enrolment, GEERD brings BrightStep’s admitted applicants into EasyClass with their record, as part of the set-up. At graduation, the graduates and their programme pass into AlmaHub through its invitation API, with GEERD triggering the send for each graduating class: the invitation goes out, and the profile is created with facts the school has verified.
In the field
“EasyClass is now at the heart of how we run day to day. It has taken weight off our teams and given us a clear view of our activity.”

The interface
What follows is the interface as the academic administration team and the students open it: the week and its register, what a student owes and how they settle it, the gradebook with its formula, the whole cohort in one table. The screens are redrawn from the product’s own labels, in both languages.
